World Table Tennis: China sweeps gold

China continued its dominance in table tennis by sweeping all five gold medals at the World Table Tennis Championships. The Chinese team was simply untouchable throughout the tournament.

In the men's singles final, the world number one defeated his compatriot in straight sets. The women's singles final was also an all-Chinese affair, with the defending champion retaining her title.

China also won gold in the men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events. The closest contest was in the mixed doubles, where the Chinese pair narrowly edged out a Japanese duo.

"We are proud of our team's performance," said the Chinese coach. "The players worked hard and executed our game plan perfectly. We will continue to work hard to maintain our dominance."
